When you're $1.6 trillion in the hole, you have to cut somewhere. I'm putting an end to the Constellation program that called for a return to the moon by 2020. Same goes for the Ares 1 rocket, NASA's planned successor to the space shuttle.

I believe an economical solution can be found within private industry. What America's Space Program needs is a company that can build a new space vehicle to get us where we need to go faster and cheaper.

Who will answer my call for some raw unbridled pedal-stuck-to-the-metal acceleration? Yo, Toyota??
