As I've said many times before, I believe the White House is the People's House. I like
to invite a wide variety of guests to the White House. Last weekend,
I invited the skateboarder Tony Hawk.
As you can see, he took advantage of the wide hallways in the White
House. His antics were widely reported in the press since his photos appeared on his
Twitter page.
I heard that some people were actually offended that Tony was
allowed to skateboard in the White House. Some think it was undignified, disrespectful, or just
plain wrong.
I happen to disagree. When I invite guests to the White House, I want them to have fun!
