Buy it on oBay!

The White House Counsel would like me start off this post by saying that the White House auction page, oBay, has no relationship whatsoever to eBay Inc.   Done.

I came up with both the idea and the clever name myself. I was looking for ways to reduce the federal deficit by cutting expenses and increasing revenue. The oBay page is a great way to bring in extra cash by auctioning off selected historic White House memorabilia to the general public.

Now before you start worrying that I'm going to sell the fifth copy of the Gettysburg Address sitting up in the Lincoln Bedroom, hear me out. I personally selected all items up for bid on oBay and will continue to do so in the future. I think you will find an interesting selection of historic, but not too historic, White House memorabilia.
