Eggs to the Left of Me, Jokers to the Right

Let me start off by saying that I accept full responsibility for the avalanche of Easter eggs on the South Lawn. Yes, mistakes were made.

I knew the annual White House Easter Egg Roll was coming up and someone had to order the eggs pronto. The question was, how many?

So I went to my expert numbers-guy Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner and asked him to make some projections and order the right number.

Problem is, Tim has been working with such large numbers these days, that he may have lost some of his real-world perspective.

He figured a billion eggs would do it. At last, we have a surplus in this Administration...

I think I'll invite Tim over to the White House next week for some egg salad sandwiches.
