A Vacation From My Vacation

As deputy White House spokesman Bill Burton said last week regarding my vacation at Martha's Vineyard, I need a vacation from my vacation. Let's face it. I had to work pretty hard last week.

So I'm headed off this week to my favorite place, Camp David. I love Camp David. I do. The only problem is that I miss the American People.

There is nothing I like better than seeing a crowd form everywhere I go. Having all those friendly faces snapping photos while I'm trying to decide which flavor of ice cream I want just warms my heart!

When I am at Camp David, I feel lonely. There are no crowds gathering to watch me play basketball. No one to cheer when I catch a fish or bowl a strike. There is no one hiding out to take that perfect photo of me in my bathing suit. I miss that. I do.
